What is Silo Guard II?

1. a formula containing a patented combination of sulphur compounds and amylase enzymes

                    - sulphure compounds react with any residual oxygen and moisten to create the required

                      anaerobic environment

                      for silage fermentation and reduce any mould and yeast growth in hay

                   - amylase enzymes assist in breaking down complex starches into simple sugars made  

                    available to the lactic

                     acid bacteria (LAB) and consequently enhance silage fermentation

2. there are already billions of colonies of LAB on the plant material which require the correct conditions to proliferate. Silo Guard II enhances these conditions.
